We arrived at Heathrow in good time, with our hearts in our mouths, hoping that Terminal 3 had resolved their luggage issues. The previous night we had been told by Virgin that much of the hold luggage that was being checked in was not making it to it's destination until a few days later!

The good news was that by the time we had checked in, it was all fixed! So after a worrying start, we were ready to go!

We boarded the Virgin Atlantic 'Dream Jeannie' a 787. We were all seated together, and as usual, Andrew had to squeeze himself into the seat, and had a huge fat man in front of him that kept reclining his seat!

Oli and I watched Zootropolis, which was brilliant, and then I watched 'Joy' which I had wanted to see for a while and it didn't disappoint. We ate some rather dubious food, and slowly those 10 hours, 50 mins ebbed away, and we finally landed in a sunny San Francisco!

After a scary few minutes of us thinking they weren't going to let Andrew in due to recent trip to Saudi Arabia, we collected our cases (hooray), and caught a taxi to the City.

Our hotel is perfectly fine, and we fell into bed as were fast asleep in minutes! So excited for tomorrow!
